CPS Fellowship and Diploma courses are notified by the Government of Maharashtra vide notification No MMC/ 1096/ 111/ 96/ Act and by the Government of Maharashtra vide GR extraordinary 4-B by notification No PGM. The Government of Gujarat has recognized all the Fellowships and Diplomas of CPS in order to strengthen the medical community in the State of Gujarat. The recognition was done through Gujarat Government Gazette No GP-17 -MCG- 102011 – 2213-J published on 14th October, 2011. CPS courses are recognized under the Gujarat Acts by the Health & Family Welfare Department of the Government of Gujarat. Affiliation
- A student desirous of joining a Post-graduate Course, he or she must have obtained a basic qualification in MBBS or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Medical Council of India for the purposes of 1st Schedule, 2nd Schedule or 3rd Schedule of IMC 1956 as amended periodically.
- Candidate Should Qualify in NEET PG Examination Conducted by NBE.
Admission Process
- According to the new rules, admission in CPS /FCPS will be on the basis of the marks obtained in NEET PG 2024. The notice for admission will be published on the CPS /FCPS official website.
- CPS /FCPS Admission Procedure 2024-2025 is a State Centralised Admission Process. Online CPS /FCPS Admission 2024-2025 will be conducted by D. M. E. R. Mumbai.
- To apply for NEET PG 2024-2025 online, candidates should visit the official website www.med-ed.in. Students can apply for Diploma/Fellowship courses in various government and private medical colleges in Maharashtra.
- To secure a Clinical or Para-clinical seat in Deemed Medical Colleges, candidates must register online at www.dmer.org. There are two rounds counselling. After the second counselling round, you will have the opportunity to apply for a Mop Up round of CPS /FCPS Admission in 2024-2025. The Mop Up round is dependent on whether there are Diploma/Fellowship Seats available.
